My Topic for this week: Weekend Retreats

I am going on my first weekend retreat next month, and I just seem to get more and more excited as it gets closer!
I love my children dearly, but as a single parent, getting a whole weekend away from them is a rare occasion indeed! Plus, it's a retreat for scrapbooking, which I am very passionate about.
On top of that, the lady who used to run the retreat sort of dumped it off on my "second mom" at the last minute - so her and I are taking it over! My head is filled with ideas for games, challenges and whatnot. But having never been to any type of retreat, much less a scrapbooking retreat, I'm not exactly sure what to expect.

So - my questions for you!
Have you ever been on a weekend retreat? How 'bout a Scrapbooking Retreat?
What did you like best, and what did you not like about it?
Do you have any suggestions or advice for me?
